Critical: since 1 March 2020, all NRW foreign-qualified Approbation applications (both Nordrhein and Westfalen-Lippe regions) are centralised at Bezirksregierung Münster ZAG-aH. Sending an application to Ärztekammer Nordrhein or any other Bezirksregierung will delay your file. As of December 2025, Münster has implemented an Annahmestopp for Gleichwertigkeitsgutachten due to the external assessment body (GfG) being severely backlogged — applicants are being routed directly to the Kenntnisprüfung. FSP is the cheapest in Germany here at €350. FSP pass rate: 64.2% (2023).
