Approbation authority: LAsD (the older name LASG or LASD still appears on some documents — same office). Applications by post only. SH accepts the telc Deutsch B2/C1 Medizin as a substitute for the chamber FSP — one of only two states where this applies (the other: Saarland). The FSP is outsourced to Ärztekammer M-V in Rostock. The Ärztekammer SH has separately published a call for qualified assessors to reduce Gleichwertigkeit review wait times. Berufserlaubnis is limited to one named employer.
